The Organizing Committee of first Global summit of children and young people on climate change and biodiversity loss 25-29, november 2023 Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India welcomes oral and poster presentations. All speakers/presenters, including keynote speakers and session chairs, are kindly requested to submit their abstracts to the secretariat by Email: abstract.climatesummit@ktglobalschool.org
The Presentations, both oral and in poster format, have been categorized into 4 different technical sessions that, together with keynote presentations, constitute the comprehensive agenda of the Global Summit. The posters are associated with the technical sessions. The poster sessions will not be held in the conference hall where the technical sessions Round Table Discussion are organized. A separate venue has been allotted for poster sessions. The delegates interested to present their posters are required to come with their posters when their associated technical sessions are held.
The moderated discussion shall be stimulated at the end of each technical session which will capture observations on the gap and insights about future policies, programmes and actions initiated. The raporteurs of the technical sessions will record all these discussions which will be incorporated in the proceedings of the Global Summit. All the delegates are encouraged to participate and contribute their inputs meaningfully towards formulating international agenda in these brain storming discussions.
The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15th October 2023. Abstracts/Proposals should be submitted electronically. The abstracts/proposals will be reviewed by the Conference Scientific Committee and forwarded to the appropriate topic experts who will review their relevance in relation to the conference themes and topics. An initial reply to confirm that the abstract/proposal will be received and forwarded will be sent by the conference secretariat.
By 30th, October 2023, a notification of whether the presentation is selected as an oral or poster presentation will be e-mailed from the secretariat to the delegates.
The accepted abstracts will be edited in a Book of Abstracts to be distributed at the conference venue.
After the conference extended abstracts and papers shall be reviewed and resubmitted to the secretariat. The maximum size of extended abstracts is 4 pages including main result figures or tables. The refined abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings and made available for downloading from the Global Summit website.
The Proceedings of the Global Summit shall be published in a special issue of International Scientific Journal. The selected articles shall be published in Young People and Climate action Series of Books. Selected authors will be invited to submit full papers shortly after the Global Summit.

Authors of accepted abstracts will be notified via e-mail by 30th, October 2023. Accepted abstracts will be published on the website of the Global Summit.
Authors of accepted abstract papers will be required to submit the finalized paper no later than 15th November 2023to allow for final review and acceptance. Paper acceptance notices will be sent out by 20th November 2023.
Please note that acceptance of a paper for presentation does not signify that funding will be made available from the organizers to attend the event. The author will be responsible for his/her arrangements to attend the event.
The following guidelines shall be carefully followed for ensuring consistency in delivery of scientific presentation at , First Global Summit of Children and Young People on Climate Change and Biodiversity Loss 27, November to 1st December, 2023 Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
All the oral presentations should be presented in Microsoft Power Point format. The delegates are requested to upload the final version of their presentation in advance and email to Secretariat of the Global Summit in attachment file. The delegates are requested to bring with them the personal copy of the file either on a USB memory stick, USB memory drive or compact disc or DVD. Each Speaker will be allotted 15 minutes to deliver his/her presentation. The session chairs will monitor the duration of presentation and ensure the each presenter does not exceed 15 minutes of allotted time. The presenters need to make home work and rehearsal of their presentation, so that they can talk up predictable length. Ideally, presentation of one slide covers one minute as per rule of the thumb. Each presenter is requested to bring 10-12 slides for meaningful presentation.
